In our rapidly aging society with a declining population, there is a growing expectation that the use of robots will compensate for human labor shortages. As our society is going to be more and more digitized in the future, we will need to implement a digital twin system (*1) where information is shared between humans, robots, and services in a virtual space, thereby allowing work to be performed efficiently.
We at TOPPAN Holdings Inc. have developed the TransBots digital twin solution, which realizes remote control and management of multiple robots used for various services by utilizing the VR and CV technologies (*2) that we have fostered. The service is scheduled to launch in 2024.
