Tokyo –July 12, 2019 – Toppan Printing (Toppan) (TSE:7911), a global leader in communication, security, packaging, décor materials, and electronics solutions, will be showcasing its latest security solutions for intelligent packaging at AIPIA Summit Asia, the leading global forum for cutting-edge active and intelligent packaging technologies and solutions, on July 18 and 19 at Swissotel Grand Shanghai.
Toppan will present the potential of intelligent packaging through solutions that apply its security technologies to cater to today’s needs for packaging that provides safety, security, and efficiency to stakeholders throughout the supply chain, from product manufacturers and brand owners to end consumers. On the first morning of the summit, Takamitsu Nakabayashi, a Shanghai-based senior R&D manager at Toppan, will give a talk on digital transformation in packaging, focusing on the use of near-field communication (NFC) technologies in Toppan’s comprehensive intelligent packaging solutions and services.
