Risk Management Policy

The TOPPAN Group does not view risks merely as negative impacts to be avoided. We recognize that when properly managed and controlled, risks can lead to new business opportunities. Based on this understanding, we will implement the following practices as part of our risk management process, while ensuring complete transparency.

  1. 1.In our daily operations, we will identify risks and take appropriate measures, including risk-taking aimed at creating business opportunities.
  2. 2.In the event of an emergency, we will act swiftly and appropriately, placing the highest priority on people’s safety. In a coordinated response effort, we will work toward prompt recovery while minimizing the impact on stakeholders, including employees, shareholders, customers, and local communities.
  3. 3.Once an emergency is under control, we will establish and implement measures that address the root cause to prevent recurrence and review our risk management systems and emergency response procedures as necessary.
  4. 4.Through training and drills, we will increase risk awareness and response capabilities and improve the efficacy of our risk management.
